Trade Mission 2019

The Trade Alliances Canada, Inc. (TAC), in alliance with the participating Canada-Philippine business chambers and councils across Canada, and in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General Toronto Trade and Investment Office, is organizing an investment and business mission to the Philippines, to bring together business and government in both countries to explore ways to further expand business, trade, investment and tourism.

It is aimed at owners and senior executives of Canadian companies, including small and medium sized enterprises in a broad range of sectors. Presently, we have interested participants in information and communications technology, aerospace engineering, financial services and technologies, clean and renewal energies, agri-business, agri-food and food processing and related technologies, tourism, hospitality and retirement, waste management and education and training,

TARGET CITIES TO VISIT: Manila, Clark and the New Clark City, Ilocos Norte, and Batangas WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

1. Canadian companies already doing business in the Philippines. They can make new contacts and reinforce existing relationship to increase their profile and raise important issues that could advance their business activities.

2. Canadian companies not yet familiar with the Philippines. They can also meet with senior business and government leaders to increase their understanding of the Philippine business and regulatory environment. They can learn about opportunities in the country and leverage the experience of other companies already present there.

3. Canadian companies already established in the Philippines. They will learn about the benefits of manufacturing in the Philippines and discover its role as a manufacturing base for goods destined for the North American market.

We are not limiting the mission to specific industries. We hope that, together, we will be able to provide a venue and widen the business opportunities for Canadian and Philippine companies, in manufacturing, eco farm tourism, aqua farming, real estate development and retirement facilities and furniture, craft, jewelry making.
