Romulo S. Romero, PhD

Romulo S. Romero is CEO & Principal Consultant of OTi Philippines, a Partner Firm of Capelle Consulting of Singapore (formerly OTi Consulting and SDC-Consulting). He is an Internationally Certified Trainer of Inscape Publishing, publishers of DiSC™ instruments. He is also a Certified Trainer for Lominger Leadership Architect® and Team Architect®. He likewise trained under Bob Pike’s Creative Training Techniques™. He is also certified for Tim Elmore’s Habitudes™ [Habits & Attitudes of Leadership], a leadership coaching program anchored on powerful leadership images. He also trained recently for Blue Ocean Strategy® in preparation to becoming a Certified Practitioner.

At the Strategic Level, Mr. Romero facilitates programs for Senior Management in the areas of Corporate Purpose, Values and Culture, and Strategic Planning using the Balanced Scorecard©. He has consulted in strategic roles with clients in the Asia Pacific and North American Region (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Canada) in the following industries: Advertising, Automotive, Banks & Financial Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Distribution, Engineering, Faith-Based Organizations, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Garments, Government, Healthcare, Information Technology, Non-Profit Organizations, Pharmaceutical, Power & Energy, Real Estate Development, and the Sugar Industry.

He has likewise consulted with clients undergoing mergers, acquisitions and restructuring in the Pharmaceutical, Information Technology, Food & Beverage/Confectionery, and the Sugar Industries, in the Philippines and in the Southeast Asian Region.

Mr. Romero currently serves as Adjunct Faculty of the UK University of Bradford School of Management (Manila Campus). He serves as Resource Person for the National Defense College of the Philippines and the League of Municipalities of the Philippines. He served as Representative of the Senate Chair on Higher Education to State Universities & Colleges from 2000-2001. He is currently enrolled in the Doctorate Program in Organization Development of the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute.

Mr. Romero sits as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Young Focus for Education and Development (YFED) and Vice-Chairman of the Coalition of Socially Responsible Small & Medium Enterprises in Asia (CSR SME Asia). He also serves as Vice-Chairman of the Philippine-Vietnam Business Council of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
